Personal Profile

A Certified Thermographer and a Certified Green Building Professional, my mission is to increase the number of energy-efficient homes in the Bay Area. 

My background reflects an abiding interest in housing and includes managing real estate, escrow, and custom-home builder offices.  I also worked at four mortgage companies and filled in as a foreclosure trust officer for a few months.  My favorite accomplishment was to re-start a foreclosure and give the property owner an extra three months to gather resources!

I enjoy organizing community forums and Q&As on How to Go Green Without Going Broke.  We honor neighbors for the steps they’ve taken already, help them reconnect surrounding energy efficiency, and provide pointers on how to get the best return on their energy dollars. 

A pet project has been volunteering with Acterra, as a Coordinator for Green@Home House Calls.  We conducted energy audits, installed low-flow water appliances, then helped Palo Alto residents do even more.  Soon Green@Home will be helping Redwood City residents.

To recharge my batteries, I love hiking along the Utah-Arizona border ... Angel’s Landing, The Wave—magic!
