Lily Livingston is a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Accredited Professional that helps facilitate the complex and integrated process of greening building projects.  As an architect with over 13 years of experience, Ms. Livingston has worked on projects from small to large, from single family residential to urban, commercial, and community public projects. Ms. Livingston is active in the green building community and affiliated with the American Institute of Architects (AIA), Architects Designers and Planners for Social Responsibility (ADPSR) and the United States Green Building Council (USGBC).

My ecological design experience began thirty years ago, when I chose my architecture school and focused my studies there on ecological considerations. In subsequent years, while the market had other interests, I researched and wrote about the impacts of buildings on humans and the biosphere. As public interest grew, I designed passive-solar homes of rammed earth, straw bales, and other green materials. Eventually, I was able to focus my practice solely on ecological building projects. In addition to practicing architecture, I have continued to write and teach about ecological design all over the country, most recently focusing on classes for homeowners on ecological remodeling.

Eric Corey Freed has designed buildings out of adobe, strawbale, pumice, and rammed earth with a particular focus on passive solar design and non toxic interiors.  He has worked in Philadelphia, New York, Santa Fe, and throughout California. Eric and his employees are all LEED Accredited Professionals by the US Green Building Council.

Our work is based on the principles of Bau-biologie, which is the study of the effect of the built environment on human health. We are educating and assisting a growing clientele in making their home environments healthier and more environmentally responsible. Eco-terric’s owner, Rowena Finegan, is certified by the BBEC-Institute for Bau-Biology & Ecology, and we are members of Co-op America.
